Police in California are in search of a woman who was seen on surveillance footage showing to intentionally cough within the face of a 1-year-old baby after an argument with the kid’s mother.
The incident befell on June 12 at a Yogurtland in San Jose – about 50 miles south of San Francisco, KTVU 2 reported.
Surveillance footage exhibits a white woman in her 60s standing in entrance of a mother and her 1-year-old baby, who was in a stroller.
In some unspecified time in the future, the woman grew to become upset with the mother for not sustaining social distancing. She then eliminated her masks and coughed within the baby’s face a number of instances, in line with police.
The mother, Mireya Mora, instructed KGO-TV she believes the incident was race-related as a result of her household is Hispanic. The household in entrance of the woman was white, however she didn’t yell at them, Mora mentioned.

Mora mentioned her son developed a light fever after that incident, however he has since recovered.
“I can’t believe someone has a heart to do this – and why?” Mora instructed KNTV. “My child did nothing wrong?”
